Passeriformes
These types of birds are perching birds which are in the order Passeriformes, the largest bird order in the bird kingdom. All passerines have 12 tail feathers, and they have strong muscles in their voice box or syrinx. Some examples include Oriental Skylark, Long-tailed tit, and Asian fairy-bluebird. With over 5,000 identified species, it has roughly twice as many species as the largest of the mammal orders.
It contains over 110 families, the second most of any order of vertebrates.
