The readiness - Part2

Now that the itinerary was confirmed and dates locked, it was just a waiting game for the D-Day to start. We had a lot of planning going in as to what vaccines are needed to how many Kg’s are we allowed to carry with us. We combined together a put forth some common things that all of us need to carry and few optional things based on circumstances and needs.

We even ganged up all on one day just to check that we are all sane and still intact. Here is our Group picture.

The final gang

Eventually the travel date was nearing and I had a hickup with my luggage. Had to rush to the nearest mall and buy a suitcase decent enough to fit all the luggage for my travel. It turned out that going there was a mistake as I was sitting in my car trying to get out of the mall, the waiting ended up being more than 1.5 hrs in the car. I should have know and I am to blame myself for going there on a Saturday evening and expecting to come back soon. But I was also lucky enough to get exactly what I needed which helped me greatly.

The D-day eventually arrived and we all embarked into the long journey. No issues at the Hyd airport, some of us did some last minute shopping at the airport, some took rest and some wanted some sleep :-).

Oops.. Did i forget to mention that the hair and beard took a dive and were gone? As you can see I did a transformation just before the travel. I think it might have been the oral polio drops that made me do it :-p .. lol
